This site provides provisional data from the weekly Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR), a publication that is based on reports made to the CDC by state health departments. The publication's CD-ROM hosts an archive of all 1991-1997 publications of the MMWR Series (The weekly MMWR, MMWR Recommendations and Reports, CDC Surveillance Summaries, and the annual Summary of Notifiable Diseases ). It also archives issues of Emerging Infectious Diseases. Purchasing information is available via this website, as is the content of the current edition of the MMWR and a link that allows users to receive a free subscription by e-mail. Site is very well designed.

This site is PDQ, a computer service of the National Cancer Institute for people with cancer and their families and for doctors, nurses, and other health care professionals. Gives up-to-date information on cancer and its prevention, detection, treatment and supportive care.
Provides information about research on new treatments, doctors who treat cancer and hospitals with cancer programs.
PDQ is useful either for learning about current treatments (their risks, and how well they do or do not work) of different kinds of cancer or as provider of additional health care professionals who specialize in treating patients with cancer.
Offers current listing of clinical trials and many cancer doctors who take part in clinical trials are listed.
