The Center for Disease Control hosts the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report Series, based on reports to the CDC by state and territorial health departments. The MMWR contains data on specific diseases (to include chronic and infectious diseases), environmental hazards, natural or human-generated disasters, occupational diseases and injuries, and intentional and unintentional injuries. A recommendations and reports section has articles that relay health policy information regarding disease and injury prevention and treatment.
